Short ride

I returned from Ren's today on bicycle: 7 miles; average speed 8+mph; top speed 18?mph. Nice to know I don't need gasoline to get around ALL the time! Triathlon happening at the other end of The Woodlands...I went West, they were in the East. Nice 84 degree day, somewhat muggy. Stopped at the French bakery for a croissant and café au lait on the way home...thought of C and his breakfast club. I suppose I should have gone to the Caffe de Fiore, which is Mexican, since it is Cinco de Mayo...another American holiday based on another culture...
